After photographing numerous weddings in the past years, I have noticed that most couples stressed too much about everything even on their wedding day. Therefore I have created these tips for you so you do not have to worry about anything but enjoying every moment of your day to the fullest. let's dive in!
TIP #1.Locations 
This is the most important piece of the puzzle. Getting wedding venues locked in for your wedding early will not only give you peace of mind, it will also open up more options for you to plan on everything else. Because venues tend to have connection with other vendors which would save you tremendous amount of time in researching and looking for vendors for your wedding. If you have not found a venue yet, I have collected a list of Top 10 Wedding Venues in Houston, please look at it! Besides my favorite 10 wedding Venues, there are tons of other awesome wedding venues on the list that you can look at as well😊🥰. One thing to keep in mind is the distance of the Venue. If your ceremony location is way too far from the reception venue, it might be some challenges for you and your guests to make travel plan. So try to keep travel time minimum.
Of course you are worried. You want this day to be the most perfect day of your life. You will worry about every little things. I get it! But don't let it be a concern that interrupts the joy of your day. You have everything planned before this. You have friends and family who are always by your side and supporting you. You have professionals who are here to make sure your day going smoothly. You also have an awesome photographer who will capture the most beautiful and authentic photographs of you in your wedding dress. Why worry? leave it at the house! Trust them, and let them help you! TIP #3.Feel good about yourself
Most couples worry they would look awkward in front of the camera. But I want you to know, on this day you two are the most beautiful couple! You have your dress carefully picked out, altered perfectly to the curves of your body. The make up artist has done a phenomenal job and you look great! He got the perfect suit that matches with your dress perfectly. Let us photographers take care the rest! As I have worked with many couples, the most important things for couple's portraits are lighting and connection. Natural light is not only flattering, it also make you two look great together in even lighting! So we want to incorporate as much natural light in your photography as we can to create beautiful and stunning photographs. Taking pictures indoor? Feel free to head to the windows and strike a pose! 😉 What about during indoor reception when it is dark? As professional a photographer, he or she will have to have their own lighting to make sure the day capture perfectly even when it is low light. You can check out our photographs with our own lighting settings for low lighting receptions here Connection is also one of the most important factor of a photograph. Make sure you stay close to each other, either hold hands, touch each other hips, or arms... stay connected!! Because a beautiful photograph is not good enough if it feels disconnected. These are the two things I always make sure they happen before creating awesome photographs for my couples.
TIP #4. Go for it
Yes, that is exactly what I mean: GO FOR IT!!! At the end of the day, I want you to fully enjoy your wedding day because this is YOUR day, and you deserve the absolute best. So if you feel like take another glass of champagne or do a crazy dance with your loved ones, go for it girl! I gotchu!😊 I will capture the day as authentic as it goes.
Just imagine 3 years from now, when you look at your wedding album, you want to remember and re-live that moments again, not just to look any beautiful emotion-less images.

TIP #5. It is Okay
As much as we want everything to go perfectly as planned, there will be times when things go in the wrong direction and we will have to let it go especially on your wedding day! When is the first dance? When is cake cutting? When do you walk down the isle?...and more these small things will unconsciously get on your mind and will interrupt the real joy here and that is YOU ARE GETTING MARRIED!!! Remember, this day is all about you two. I often tell my couples " Let's finish what we are doing to make sure we got everything you guys need, they can wait for you" So IT IS OKAY to let it go 😊
